Being gone for days at a time, and having a tom that likes to get into trouble at night, this is the perfect solution! The timer allows him in and out during the daytime, but will keep him in at night. Now I don't come home to an angry cat that has been trapped in the house for 4 days! This door installed into my old standard Petsmart arcadia cat door in minutes!
However, one thing that could be improved is the noise made by the locks, which freaked my cat out for several days. Eventually, however, he got used to it, knowing he had to deal with it to get outside.
A great solution for a very reasonable price!

Amazing door |

I am so glad the Mr. Jingles likes his cat door. I am very happy too see if he is in or out of my house and that I can control when he can leave and when he can get back in. I am also glad that this door was easy to install. Thank you for having such a great product.

I have to conclude that there must be a tiny little brain in this cat door. The only glitch to this theory is that the door requires batteries. I can easily monitor which cat is in or out of the house and also set the timer to control access. I am very impressed that a manufacturer has FINALLY come up with cat door design that is truly raccoon proof at a minimal cost. I witnessed 3 raccoons trying to access this door this evening...... I had no pity for them as they failed miserably.
Thanks Moore Pet for the recommendation and great customer service. You guys Rock!

Amazing cat door |

I was looking for a cat flap to keep my now older cat in and let my little Jynx out at night, and this product worked perfectly. I can set my timer to let Jynx out from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m and my older cat cannot. What a great product!
